Abstract
Technological advancement and the rapid development of artificial intelligence have led to a growing number of studies investigating pedagogical innovations incorporated with emerging technologies in this digital age. An increasing amount of empirical evidence has suggested the potential benefits of incorporating digital technologies and artificial intelligence in various educational contexts, and a change in the modality of learning in the unprecedented period of COVID-19. From this approach, this essay presents a description of how emerging pedagogy can contribute to the construction of knowledge in virtual learning environments, considering as a starting point that emerging representation is associated with the fact that they are pedagogical plans that At the moment they are in a process of evolution and theoretical settlement. In addition to the use of technology, emerging pedagogies emphasize the active participation of students in their own learning, student responsibility, metacognitive skills, and a dialogic and collaborative model of teaching and learning.
