Abstract
This article discusses the criteria taken into account for evaluating the 120 special undergraduate papers (TEGs) produced in the Specialization in the Promotion of Reading and Writing, University of Los Andes, Táchira (Venezuela). to specify how repetitive or dissimilar the aspects taken into account by the arbitrators who evaluated these GSGs are, and to justify the proposal for an evaluation instrument to guide the work of the assigned arbitrators. Diversity in evaluation indicators and mentions given by arbitrators was found. Two review templates are proposed that could serve to guide the assessment of all TEGs in that postgraduate degree. Some of these criteria focus on the quality of research, while others are aimed at the thesis's academic performance.
