The teaching of maxwell’s laws through phenomena interaction

Abstract

This paper is an educational proposal that aims to introduce Maxwell’s laws elemental aspects through the electromagnetic phenomena interaction that make them cause, to students at Media Level of Education in an institution of Miranda state, Venezuela. By the use of simple experiences, the purpose is to make up a didactic platform that allows the formation of concepts that ease the later approach to the formal teaching of such laws. The methodological process was made in three (3) phases: Documental, Designing and Assessment of knowledge. Experimental strategies were designed and applied to a 38 students section from 5th year in Media Education, according to their complexity levels. After the application, a meaningful change in the way the students describe the electromagnetic phenomena was observed, as well as the incorporation of concepts and abstraction.
