Abstract
This paper is a proposal to characterize a zone of proximal development in terms of Vygotsky. Through a digital interface, it is expected to take advantage of the current technological development. A referential matrix was designed to use the resources from Internet and from everything related to communication and information technologies (CIT) with educational purposes under the constructivist approach. In this proposal, the teacher is considered as a mediator for the building and reconstruction ofknowledge. Authors such as Ausbel, Piaget, Gowin and Novak are quoted to support and thus enrich the Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development approach in relation to information, communication and educational technologies.
