Abstract

One of the greatest dreams, desires or hopes in the general thought of human beings has been the desire to live in peace. A longing that, due to its great complexity of realization, is usually categorized as utopian. This reflective documentary article addresses the problem from the conviction that it presupposes speaking and thinking about perpetual peace and develops its conceptual structure based on the idea of ??duty, specifically, a duty to learn. The ideas of some such authors as Immanuel Kant, Martin Heidegger, Max Scheler, José Ortega y Gasset, who have contributed their thoughts to the problem, will be examined. It will be concluded by affirming that it is the duty of reason here, to do everything possible so that life prevails, to put itself before the facts, in this way, as life itself ceases to be the victim of itself, peace perpetuates little little by little it will unfold in human action as its foundation, its natural way of living, its natural way of being. It is the responsibility of man to mold and streamline the learning process that his existence imparts to him and to extract the fundamental knowledge from each experience so that it is added to the general human experience, which would become his history, in such a way, perpetual peace would be guaranteed.
